A graduate of a dual university degree in business administration and marketing from HEC Bordeaux, France and Humberside University, United Kingdom, Claire Bara left France after completing her studies in 1993 to settle in Montréal, Canada.
Since the beginning of her career, Claire occupied a number of positions in commercial operation and marketing with large Canadian companies such as Sobeys Inc, Molson Coors and Quebecor. Her expertise in retail goes beyond traditional or digital marketing, having worked in merchandising, category management, pricing management, training and change management.
Claire is recognized for undertaking profound changes in companies, most particularly digital shifts. As VP of marketing at Rona since 2013, she manages traditional and digital marketing, CRM programs and Business Intelligence.
Mother of an eight-year old daughter and a five-year old son, Claire has completed four marathons.
