Josh Johnston

Josh Johnston is the Director of Customer Experience for the Western Canadian online Grocer SPUD.COM. In this role Josh works with closely with the rest of the SPUD.COM Team to ensure every customer interaction with the SPUD brand is one that customers will brag to their friends about. With over 10 years of ecommerce experience Josh has worked on a wide range of projects including the implementation of an in-store pickup service for a major Western Canadian Retailer and the creation of a custom built automated email engine. Currently, Josh is dedicated to developing an omni-channel experience that will make ordering fresh, local, and organic food stress free. From video blogs explaining how the online service works to creating a vendor network that allows customers to interact with the producers of their food, SPUD strives to ensure customers can shop for groceries online with confidence.

Josh holds a Masters Degree in History from the University of Victoria specializing in 19th Century German Philosophy. When not at work Josh enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
